Haichen aluminum alloy cold chamber die casting machine high quality chamber spare parts
The chamber design dictates the die casting machine's material compatibility and efficiency. Cold chambers isolate the injection system from extreme heat, enabling high-temperature alloys but slower production.
Die casting machine chamber | The chamber design of the die casting machine directly determines the type of metal it is suitable for and its production efficiency. The cold chamber die casting machine can handle high melting point metals by separating the die chamber from the furnace. |
Haichen Cold Chamber Die Casting
Structure:
The cold chamber is separate from the melting furnace. The chamber and injection plunger are not submerged in molten metal. For each cycle, molten metal is manually or robotically ladled from an external furnace into the chamber before injection. Cold chamber machines are further divided into vertical (vertical chamber) and horizontal (horizontal chamber) types based on orientation.
Material Compatibility:
Ideal for high-melting-point metals such as aluminum (~660°C), magnesium (~650°C), and copper alloys. These metals exceed 700°C when molten, which would damage the machine if the chamber were integrated with the furnace.
Advantages & Limitations:
Avoids prolonged thermal stress on machine components but requires slower, manual/robotic metal transfer. Suitable for medium-to-high-volume production of high-melting-point alloys.
