Hot chamber die casting machine is a kind of equipment used for metal die casting.
Which is mainly used to produce castings of low melting point metals such as aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, magnesium alloy, etc.
Its basic structure includes the following main parts:
Mould clamping device: responsible for the opening and closing of the mould to ensure the precise alignment of the mould.
The clamping device is usually composed of a fixed mold seat plate, a moving seat plate, a tie rod, a clamping hydraulic cylinder, an ejection mechanism, a mold adjusting device and a safety door.
The clamping device can be divided into three types: mechanical, hydraulic, and hydromechanical, among which the hydraulic clamping device is more common because it has the advantages of large clamping force, convenient adjustment, and high efficiency.
Injection device:
responsible for pressing molten metal into the mold cavity.
The injection device includes a pressure chamber, a pressure hammer, a hydraulic cylinder, a nozzle and other components.
During the injection process, the molten metal in the crucible enters the chamber through the inlet of the chamber, and is filled into the mold cavity when the hammer head is pressed down after clamping to solidify and form.
Hydraulic transmission system:
Power is transmitted through hydraulic components and circuits to achieve various action programs.
The hydraulic system includes hydraulic pumps, locking/opening hydraulic cylinders, ejector pin hydraulic cylinders, crimping hydraulic cylinders, injection hydraulic cylinders, control valves, accumulators, oil tanks, and coolants, etc.
Electrical Control System:
Ensure that the machine is working at a predetermined pressure, speed, temperature, and time.
The electrical control system is mainly composed of motors, various electrical components, instruments, and electrical circuits.
Other devices: including fault alarm systems, monitoring systems, information storage systems, etc., to improve production efficiency and safety.
The working principle of the hot chamber die-casting machine is to inject molten metal into the mold through the gate, fill the mold cavity under high pressure, and open the mold to take out the casting after the molten metal cools and solidifies.
