The working principle of the injection molding machine can be simply summarized as the following steps:
Quantitative feeding:
The plastic particles are fed into the barrel of the injection molding machine through the hopper.
The outside of the barrel is heated by a heating ring, which gradually melts the plastic particles into a flowing state.
Melt plasticization:
Under the thrust of a screw or plunger, the plastic is heated and sheared in the barrel, gradually melting, plasticizing, and homogenizing to form a viscous flow molten plastic.
Pressure injection:
A screw or plunger pushes molten plastic onto the piston pusher rod of the injection cylinder, and the molten plastic is injected into the mold cavity at high speed and pressure by high pressure.
Holding cooling:
After the injection is completed, the mold is closed and the molten plastic is cooled and solidified in the mold cavity to form the desired shape.
At this time, the injection molding machine maintains a certain pressure to prevent melt reflux and ensure that the product has a certain density and dimensional tolerance.
Mold opening and picking:
After the cooling is completed, the mold is opened, and the ejector ejects the product out of the mold, completing an injection molding cycle.
