Haichen injection plastic molding machine non-return check valve
In injection molding machines, the definition and basic functions of a non-return valve are as follows:
Definition A non-return valve, also known as a check valve or check valve, is a mechanical device designed to ensure that a fluid (liquid or gas) can only flow in one direction.
This type of valve prevents the fluid from flowing in the opposite direction through its construction, thus protecting the system from damage and ensuring the correct flow of the fluid.
Basic Function Prevent Backflow:
The main function of a check valve is to prevent the fluid from flowing in the opposite direction and ensure that the fluid flows in the correct direction in the pipeline.
This is especially important in injection molding machines to prevent the reflow of molten material into the screw, which can affect the quality and efficiency of the injection process.
Protect equipment:
Check valves protect pumps, compressors, and other piping components from damage caused by backflow.
In injection molding machines, this helps to extend the life of the equipment and reduce maintenance costs.
Maintain pressure:
Check valves help maintain pressure in the system and prevent pressure drops due to backflow.
This is essential for precise control and stable production in injection molding machines.
Avoid contamination:
By preventing fluid backflow, check valves help to avoid mixing or contamination between different fluids, ensuring the purity of the production process.

The check ring is mounted on the screw, between the screw head and the screw
The check ring prevents the melt from going against the flow. When the screw is injected forward, the end face of the check ring contacts with the gasket so that the melt of the screw head forms a closed space. When the injection is completed and the screw goes back, the check ring and the gasket loosen and melt enters the screw head.
