Injection Molding Process
Raw Material Handling and Plasticization
Plastic particles (such as PP, PE) are conveyed to the hopper through a vacuum suction machine, and then heated to a molten state by entering the screw barrel (typical temperature range: 180-260°C).
For recycled materials (such as the waste snakeskin bags used in the Pakistan case), they need to be pre-treated such as smelting, crushing, and secondary processing.
Injection stage
The molten plastic is injected into the closed mold through a nozzle at high pressure (70-120 MPa), and the filling time needs to be precisely controlled to ensure that the melt is evenly filled.
The injection rate is usually in a "quick injection" mode to avoid premature cooling of the melt.
Holding & Cooling
Holding phase (25-35 seconds, pressure 70 Bar) compensates for shrinkage of the material and prevents denting.
The cooling time is adjusted according to the thickness of the product (25-60 seconds), and the mold temperature is controlled at 40-100°C to ensure structural stability.
Demoulding and post-processing
After the robotic arm automatically takes out the product, it carries out manual treatment such as burr repair and installation of anti-slip pads.
