Die casting machine spare parts: Plunger/Piston head
In cold chamber die casting machines, the injection head is the key to achieving high-quality casting production. The injection head of Haichen die casting machines is manufactured with advanced design concepts and high-quality materials to ensure stable operation under high pressure and high temperature environments, while meeting the process requirements of different customers.
Features: |
1. High-precision design Haichen's injection head uses precision machining technology to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Its internal flow channel is optimized to achieve smooth flow of molten metal, reduce turbulence and bubble generation, and thus improve the surface quality and internal density of castings. 2. High-speed injection capability The injection head is equipped with a high-performance drive system that can achieve fast and stable metal injection. By precisely controlling the injection speed and pressure, Haichen's injection head can meet the diverse production needs from thin-walled parts to complex structural parts, ensuring that the molten metal fills the mold cavity in a short time and reduces defects such as cold shut and pores. 3. Durable materials and cooling system The injection head is in direct contact with high-temperature molten metal, so Haichen uses heat-resistant and wear-resistant materials and is equipped with an efficient cooling system. This not only extends the service life of the injection head, but also ensures its stability during long-term operation and reduces deformation or damage caused by high temperature. |
We have more than 20 years experience in "HAICHEN' brand die casting machine production with the advanced technology. There are engineers who are responsible for the technics improvement too in order to provide better machines for our customers. Easy operation and professional design ensure quality and precision.
Haichen is an important manufacturer of die-casting machine equipment, specializing in providing die-casting production solutions for aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, zinc alloys, and copper alloys. Our products cover solutions for large die casting islands. Haichen cooperate closely with customers to jointly promote innovation and development in the die-casting industry. We not only have advanced die casting processes, but also are committed to technological innovation, researching and developing technologies such as vacuum casting, extrusion casting, and intelligent production.Q: Aluminum Pot production process?
A: The production of Aluminum Pot requires the melting of raw aluminium alloys of the corresponding grades in a furnace, followed by the use of a cold chamber die casting machine to press the melted aluminium alloy into specially designed Aluminum Pot moulds, which are then cooled down and taken out by a Extractor. With our Aluminum Pot production line, we can automate the entire production process week after week.
Due to the fact that aluminium pots need to be coated with a smooth layer in the later stages to insulate the air, the main body of the pot needs to be densely constructed to ensure even heat conduction, for this reason, we will increase the runners in the design of the aluminium pot moulds and distribute a larger number of zip ties to exhaust the air. After the die casting process is complete, these parts need to be removed using a hydraulic press.
Afterwards, the aluminium pots are evenly coated and ready for the market!
Q: What is cold chamber die-casting machine?
A: Cold chamber die-casting machine is a high-pressure die casting equipment that does not immerse the injection chamber and injection punch into the molten metal, but pours a certain amount of molten metal into the injection chamber and then performs injection. This type of equipment is typically used for processing non-ferrous metal materials such as aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, and copper alloys.
Q: Difference between hot chamber and cold chamber die casting
A: Hot chamber die-casting machine:
1. The chamber(gooseneck) is immersed in an alloy liquid that maintains a constant temperature. This design allows the molten metal to be directly injected into the mold under high pressure, simplifying the operation process.
2. Used for casting low melting point metals such as zinc, copper, and lead.
Cold chamber die-casting machine:
1. The chamber and furnace are separate, and the molten metal needs to be poured from the crucible into the injection chamber for injection.
2. Used for high melting point metals such as aluminum, magnesium, copper.
